Location

30 minutes drive from the airport. 10 minutes from Yangon city centre. The Chatrium Royal Lake Yangon is located near a quiet residential area overlooking the lush green landscape of the Royal Kandawgyi Lake and parks.

Rooms

310 well appointed and comfortable guestrooms and suites. All the rooms have the following amenities: A/C, satellite TV, mini bar, telephone, shower and bathtub and hairdryer. The 165 Superior, 91 Deluxe rooms are similar size (40 sqm), with a main difference of what floor they are located on: Superior rooms are on the 2nd – 6th floor, Deluxe rooms are on the 7th – 9th floors. These rooms have views of the Lake and Shwedagon Pagoda or of the city. The 8 Corner Deluxe rooms are slightly larger (55 sqm) and have Lake and Pagoda views. The hotel also offers Suites style accommodation. The 10 Studio (61 sqm) and 8 Junior (70 sqm) Suites have city view only. The 5 Luxury (85 sqm) and the 15 Deluxe (75 sqm) Suites have Shwedagon Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake views. The 7 Executive Suites (112 sqm) and have either a city view only or a Lake and Pagoda view. The largest room in the hotel is the Royal Lake Suite (300 sqm), which offers a view od the Pagoda and Lake.

Facilities

The dining experience includes international food at the Emporia Steak House, barbeque at the Sunset Terrace, Chinese cuisine at Tiger Hill and Japanese at the famous Benkay Restaurant. Snacks and light refreshments are served at the Lobby Lounge. The pub houses the Bar and Karaoke station. The Grand ballroom can accommodate 500 guests. Other facilities include a meeting room and business centre.
